I left Thailand saying I wouldn’t be back any time soon and somehow i’m back; and it’s hot. Going from freezing temperatures in Poland to 38 degrees in Thailand takes a bit of getting used to. As far as i’m aware; Bangkok is the cheapest city to fly to in South East Asia so I decided to fly to Bangkok via England to get different clothes.
Thailand’s entry rules are weird and you can only stay here a month before leaving which sucks. I wish it was 90 days like a lot of other countries. This month will be so hot, but the apartment I have found for a month has a swimming pool which should make it bearable.
A week back in Asia and it already feels like i’ve never left. Eating noodles, drinking ice tea and going about on the motorbike is what living in Thailand is all about for me. I don’t care much for the seaside so I just wanted to return to the north again. Apartments range from less than £100 a month to £300 a month which is what I spent. I’ll write a separate post about my apartment.
It’s almost my birthday so i’m planning on doing something, but so far I have nothing in mind. I would like to go to Hong Kong but flights are expensive from Chiang Mai. It would be good to leave the country and get back for Sonkran and also get another month to stay in Thailand.
